In Islam, The Role Of A Teacher Is

In Islam, the role of a teacher is held in the highest esteem. Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

"Verily, I was sent as a teacher."
(Sahih Ibn Majah, 229)

This profound statement highlights that teaching is not merely a profession—it is a prophetic mission. Just as the Prophet (SAW) taught the companions with gentleness and wisdom, so too do our teachers shape the future of the ummah with love and dedication.

We also remember how the Prophet (SAW) nurtured young minds like that of Mu’adz ibn Jabal, Abdullah ibn Abbas, and Anas ibn Malik, preparing them to become leaders and scholars. His patience and personalized care as a teacher continue to be a model for educators everywhere.

On this blessed Teachers’ Day, we extend our deepest gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to all our beloved teachers—those who guide not only with knowledge but with wisdom, patience, and compassion. You are the torchbearers of truth and the nurturers of hearts and minds.

May Allah reward all our teachers abundantly in both this life and the Hereafter, increase them in beneficial knowledge, and grant them barakah in all they do. Ameen.

Happy Teachers’ Day! ❤️????
