???? A Special Literary Visit from England!

Alhamdulillah, our students had the incredible opportunity to meet renowned children's author, Dr. Fawzia Gilani-Williams, who travelled all the way from England to inspire our young readers and writers. Dr. Fawzia is a British scholar of Islamic children's literature. She is also an author of children's literature as 'mirror books', an approach to writing and storytelling that reflects visibility for readers in story.

During her visit, she captivated our students with an engaging Read Aloud Session, bringing her stories to life through expressive storytelling and interactive discussions. The students were delighted to hear directly from a real author and learn about the creative journey behind her books.

Among her published books are beloved titles such as Nabeel's New Pants: An Eid Tale, Snow White: An Islamic Tale, Cinderella: An Islamic Tale, Beauty and The Beast: An Islamic Tale and many more.

The session was filled with curiosity, imagination, and inspiration as students asked thoughtful questions and discovered the magic of storytelling. Experiences like these help nurture a lifelong love for books and encourage our young learners to become confident readers and future authors.
