TAJDID IN PRACTICE: FROM INNER RENEWAL TO OUTER TRANSFORMATION

Alhamdulillah, 6 representatives from Al-Ilmi Integrated Islamic Secondary School, Al-Ilmi Integrated Islamic Primary School and Integrated Islamic School Melaka (IILM) had the opportunity to attend the 5th Annual Conference of the Global Association of Islamic Schools in Jakarta, Indonesia.

This year’s theme, “Tajdid in Practice: From Inner Renewal to Outer Transformation,” reminds us that meaningful transformation begins from within through continuous reflection, renewal of purpose and the courage to improve the way we educate and lead.

Throughout the conference, we gained valuable knowledge, perspectives and insights from distinguished speakers and Islamic education practitioners from various parts of the world.

The sharing has made us more aware of the emerging challenges in education, the needs of today’s generation and most importantly, the steps we need to take as one of the pioneers of Integrated Islamic Education in Malaysia.

For us, attending this conference is not merely about gaining new knowledge.
It is about bringing the knowledge home, reflecting on our current practices, strengthening what works, improving what needs to change and translating ideas into meaningful action across our schools.

Renew the purpose.
Strengthen the practice.
Transform the future.

May Allah guide every step we take in nurturing a generation that is knowledgeable, capable, grounded in the Qur’an and Sunnah and ready to contribute meaningfully to the Ummah.
